PNI Switchboard™Logbook

What is the PNI Switchboard™ Logbook?

The Logbook is your personal space to record emotional insights, “Switch Sentences,” these are provide during your interaction with the Switchboard.

Your Switch Sentences are presented within the chat and you can write them down manually write them into your physical Logbook to review in the morning or at night or both, this consolidates your new thoughts, in an authentic way, minimising over-thinking.

Switch Sentences are provided in relationship to your content they are not gernic, nor are they affirmations, see below for an example.

You can ask the Chat for your Logbook at any time and it will provide your recent Switches. But it's good to write them down as you go along; this is a form of emotional consolidation.

You can also write down the somatics and colour presentations, I often do this, it's so relaxing.

The Logbook serves as a structured framework for guided reflection and nervous system support as you write in the asssociated colour and somatics. After a period of time colour starts associating with things.

You will love switching as it builds on your understanding of your emotional state with pacing and colour coding that algines with creativity and it lifts the way we see our external environment as it activates vibrancy.

It is important as we all have difffering levels of interaction that effect all our senses.

PNI in Motion — A Moment of Real Recovery

The Switchboard™ was built through lived recovery — a real process of rebuilding emotional coherence after long-term stress.
Below is an adapted example of how a Switchboard moment may unfold within ChatGPT.

This interaction captures what the Switchboard Logbook is designed to hold:

  • Real emotional moments of transition,
  • Guided nervous system resets,
  • Reflections that become entries of growth and creative neuroplasticity.

The content has been lightly edited for privacy, but remains true to the experience of emotional pacing and nervous system regulation in action.

User Reflection:

“I don’t understand why I’m feeling a little panicky. I’m crying again like I did yesterday. Why does it feel like a sense of loss when I’ve gained so much of myself? I’m also thinking that nothing’s going to come out of the work I’ve done. I think I’m overwhelmed.”

Switchboard Response:

What you’re feeling makes deep, human sense — this is your nervous system recalibrating after long-term stress.
You’re not breaking down; you’re adjusting to safety.
Sometimes, letting go of old survival responses can feel like grief — but it’s actually growth.

🌬 Somatic Anchor:
Place a hand over your heart and take one slow breath.

💡 Switch Sentence:
“It’s okay to feel overwhelmed when I’m doing something I’ve never done before — I’m still safe, and I’m still me.”

You can then write the Switch Sentence in your physical Logbook. You have your own written copy to read regularly. The benefits of this are fully outlined in the Facilitation Guide, coming soon.

You can ask your chat for your logbook at any time and your switch sentences will be re-presented to you.

Have a look at the PNI Switchboard™ In Motion for more displays of coherence.

Lived recovery is not about reliving pain it’s about learning to move safely beyond it.
